Ive had a few problems with my top since I have had this car. Also alignment problems on my "lid" after I painted the top half of the car. Been tackling other problems in the car first. Got to it tonight.

1. (pic1) Missing a nut. Anyone know the thread size? SAE/Metric? I dont have any around here that small, so I gotta go buy.

2. (pic2) Bushings basically gone on both sides. Anyone know of replacements, or have some old ones? Anyone here have a machine shop and wanna make some of brass?

3. (pic3) Missing 1 screw on each side. Anyone have extras?

4. (pic4) 1 side of this bushing was completely gone which explained why that side didnt collapse right. Causing the seal above the window not to fit in place when top was up causing leak. For now I have 2 washers in there spacing it. Again, extras, new, someone make some?

5. (pic5) This broke, need a new one.

6. noticed that my top sagged on the rear/right. After f-ing around it appears the back bow is bent due to it still being latched and people tugging on it to open. Anyone else have this problem? I'm going to slowly try and warp it back.

7. Noticed bow 4? has 5 screw holes in it. Is there to be something there, or would that be for the original top and some kinda support for the back glass?

8. Anyone ever installed different/new electric poppers? Ive thought about trying to install some shaved door handle poppers and a solid rod?

9. Think I could take some rear panels off a hardtop, make a mold with fiberglass to install some 8" marine speakers. Then cover that with some fabric?

does your car have headliner if not i think that is where your missing srews for the attachment of headliner

 

It has one that goes from the front bow, to the 3rd. But not the 4th.

Guess its not the right or proper headliner?
