Did You Check The Fan Relay. It might also be a short or the temp sensor. Last Thing to check is the computer. If all else fails try hot wiring the fans to something that comes on only when you turn the key on. Nice car by the way.

Re: ENGINE OVER HEATING PLEASE HELP!!!
Did you ever get around to checking the fan relays?
1) Do relays have 12vdc power?
2) Is temp switch closed when engine is hot? (if installed)
3) Do fans have good ground?
4) Does temp switch have 12vdc power?
Not sure how the fans could be impacted by the A/C system. Will need more details to help with that.

Re: ENGINE OVER HEATING PLEASE HELP!!!
i would check the temp sensor. mine was stuck on -40 degrees causing the computer to think the engine was cold and thus not allowing the fan to come on. a quick fix is wiring the fan directly to the battery with some kind of switch. i did this untill i got it fixed and it worked fine.

Re: ENGINE OVER HEATING PLEASE HELP!!!
I`m assuming if your car had a single fan and you hooked up dual fans that you spliced the fan wires together and connected them to the existing fan wire so they both come on at the same time? On cars that come stock with dual fans, the secondary fan comes on when the air cond. is turned on. It sounds like you may need a new fan switch. I`m not sure on single fan cars if the fan is controlled by the ECM or thermal fan switch. I sent you a message about wiring diagrams, let me know.

Re: ENGINE OVER HEATING PLEASE HELP!!!
if it was the relay then it would never turn on even w/ AC. Most likely the fan switch. the switch that tells the ECM what temp it is and then the ECM turns the fan on.

The fan is controlled by a fan switch in single fan cars, at least it is in my 92.

Re: ENGINE OVER HEATING PLEASE HELP!!!
if i remember right the cooling fan relay is controlled by the temp sensor and the ac switch check all wires at relay but its prob the temp sensor but i have seen the relay only have power on the ac side i guess if all else fails put it on the switch it will run as long as its on
