Re: What water pump to buy?

I am very pleased with my Edelbrock Victor water pump. I installed it 12 years ago and no problems since. It's an aluminum hi flow pump so it trims a few pounds while moving up to 25% more water.

Thanks for the suggestions, are the pumps in our cars clockwise or counterclockwise?

Re: What water pump to buy?

Depends on the year. Later ones with serpentine belts go counterclockwise, but earlier ones with vbelts are clockwise

Re: What water pump to buy?

They make one for the serpentine setup that is reverse rotation. It's what I use.

Re: What water pump to buy?

They have them on ebay for serpentine cars that are aluminum for a steal. I have them on two of my cars and I love them. No core charge to deal with.
