Cannot find any inner fender heating tube / pipes, From heater core , hoses go to the pipes/tubes mounted to the inner passenger side fender, then go to the water pump. Cannot find any new or used, anyone know where to get these? Anyone have any ides if they can be replaced with maybe silicone hoses? Thanks
Not sure where you are located, but we have a local place called Inline tube. You can take them old lines like this and they will 3d scan them and reproduce them in a couple of hours. They mainly do brake/fuel lines but I've seen them do larger items like these as well.
Thanks for the reply, I am in PA. but I have ordered fuel lines from inline before, Going to look into maybe shipping them to Inline or call and see about a price. Thanks again.
i tried Hawks online and nothing there, then I called Hawks to order some water pump, and hoses and asked about the tubes and they said they had nothing. I might try again, Thanks for the reply though.
Those are for a V6, aren't they? I see them all the time in junkyard cars. But no reason you couldn't configure some hoses to work instead of the tubes.
I'm surprised Hawk's doesn't have any. They have a yard full of junk cars. I'd find it hard to believe none still have those tubes. I think they just don't want to go out there and pull parts.
I've hit them up a couple of times about OE heater cores. Their junk cars probably still have the original heater cores in them. Even if the cores are no good, they could at least use one for a sample to get real OE-style heater cores reproduced. They get a lot of parts reproduced, but good, original-style heater cores are a genuine NEED and would be a best seller. But... crickets.

Dang, i swear SOMEBODY made them new....
Worse comes to worse, just use regular heater hose and maybe use zip ties to keep them in place?
LOL , yeah alot of bends, i was thinking of using PEX and heating it to make the bends, but im not sure it can take the heat, and they are two different sizes.
I think PEX would take the heat. I used it in a hot water furnace system that regularly saw 200*F, sometimes 212*F. You would need metal hose barb ends.
A Friend of mine made new ones from copper pipe and sweated them together. Look around and you should be able to find some sweat fit hose barbs for the ends.

THIS, right here. I was wondering if anyone had fabbed some up out of copper pipe.
hey Aaron been awhile, you replied to my heater pipe issue in April , thanks, well i tried PEX and it fits but one started leaking from a Shark bite elbow. You mentioned something about metal connections? I see silicone heater hoses and they are rated to 350 degrees, i would think that it gets hotter then that by the manifold , No? Thanks for any help.
The best fitting to use is the brass ones with the stainless steel crimp. Gotta buy the special crimp tool as well though. Plumbing section of most hardware stores.
Shark bite fittings aren't a good long term solution for any PEX system.
