Any idea on what's wrong?
I hope I'm posting this in the correct area, sorry if I'm not.
I connected my laptop up to the iroc using an aldl cable and winaldl and drove it around and it developed a code 34. I've had it once before a while back, but it went away after a reset and a new vss. So, with help from others on the forum, I decided to replace the power relay to the maf. I found that the old relay looked like it had been changed at one time, and not with the correct one. So, I replaced it with the correct one, reset the ecm, and eliminated the code 34. Unfortunately, it's still not right (lost some power) and it's still getting around 15 mpg or less, while I use to get around 18 or so. So, I reconnected the cable and tried to log data, but it wouldn't. I tried to save the tables, but they didn't save
. So, here are some things I took note of:
It gave me a rich flag
EECC slow 02 rich/lean flag
At 750 rpm, the maf read at 6.2, and at 1300, it read at 11.9
The blm was at 128 when I started the car, but later it would go as high as 144, but it usually hung under 120.
I tried to save these tables, but they didn't save. All throughout the rpm range the spark count table showed numbers, but I don't know what that means.
I'm really sorry I guess this isn't a whole lot of info, but I can't figure out what's wrong with this car. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, I'd love to do it again so I can save the tables and I can post them here. Please just let me know if more info is needed, and I'll be more than happy to get it. Thanks.

One thing you could try is to spray MAF Sensor Cleaner inside your MAF sensor! Your MAF Burnoff Relay should be keeping your MAF sensor clean, but thats not always the case! I've done it to mine, and it did not harm it at all!!!(SAFE TO DO).

IDK, but it seems that your #'s are off a bit!
At 750 rpm, the maf read at 6.2, and at 1300, it read at 11.9
And is it idealing at 750rpms? Once warm, it should be 450-550rpms and reading more like 10+g/s.

Re: Any idea on what's wrong?
Thanks for all your help! I missed that post, I'll read through it and see what it says (it's a long one lol). I did spray maf cleaner in it. I did it several thousand ago and I did it just maybe 100 mi ago to see if it would help anything.
I've never been able to get it to idle under around 650. When it does hit 500 to 550 it's ready to die. It's always been this way. I tried to adjust the idle, but the plates are closed as much as they can be. The screw isn't really doing anything. I know that I have a bad throttle body (70% of the time or more the throttle sticks around 1000 when I come to a stop). I actually just purchased one from a fellow forum member, but he sent me one in very poor shape and when I tried to remove the tps screws they broke off in the threads and they can't be drilled out. He won't respond to me. Anyway, the throttle body has had this problem since I bought it, but I do know that it would prolly be better when I get another for it and adjust everything.
Maybe the maf is bad? That's what it's been looking like, but it would sure be a bummer to replace something that pricey for nothing. After I find another job, I'll buy a new throttle body etc for it.
Oh yeah, I can smell and taste some gas through the fpr vacuum line. That isn't right, is it?
Thanks for your help, I'm kinda stumped right now. Also, you have a really pretty GTA there!

Oh yeah and I think I forgot to mention that the o2 sensor was jumping all over from .100 to .500 or .600 at times, usually around .300 to .550 or so. The blm was as low as 108 and usually under 120.

What does your Throttle body look like inside, behind the butterflys? If there is enough carbon build-up inside and behind the butterflys, it could cause the thrlttle body to stay open just slightly.......CLEAN YOUR THROTTLE BODY...BUDDY! lol.

Re: Any idea on what's wrong?
I cleaned it not too long ago, but I'm thinking about cleaning it again and maybe oiling up the moving parts to see if it doesn't help. If it does, I have the gaskets and I'll take it out and clean all of it and replace the gaskets as well. Idk why the thing will idle no lower than 650 when the plates are practically touching the walls of the throttle body!

You should take a look at your TPS and make sure that it is set properly, 0.52v-0.54v(closed throttle-idle)

Re: Any idea on what's wrong?
Hey thanks for the help again. I'll put it in that range, it's at .51 right now according to winaldl. I think it's gonna end up being the maf, or the maf connections at the sensor, or the power relay connection, or the ones at the ecm. Maybe the ecm itself is toast (or toasting lol).
