I'm preparing to switch from MAF to SD using AUJP bin. I cannot seem to find the line item in the AUJP bin to disable VATS. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

What tuner software are you using?

 

If tuner pro v5 its a flag, tuner cat its under tables, ecm switch.

 

I am using Tuner Pro V5. I just updated it yesterday. I will look at the Flag. I swear I did not see it there.

The first eight line items under Flags start with the text "Switch 16". Then in parenthesis there is a string of text that includes the following (VATS TCC -R-NO VATS OLP) - Bit" Followed by a Bit number, then more text with three of four number and letters.

When I started this effort, I downloaded files from the TunerPro website. I downloaded "Super_8dm2". That file is different than the file Tuned_Performance posted here. I got allot of learning to do. Thank You Tuned_Performance.

Are you using super aujp or just aujp ?

 

I am using AUJP. I have read the "Read Me" file that comes with Super_AUJP but I am not at that level yet. So I will stick with just AUJP for now.

For the 8D xdf, In the description for these series of switches it says...

b6, 1 = USE A/D BATT FOR INJ Lk Up, (else use PUMP VDC) OLP= Open Loop Purge VATS= VATS Enable b3, 1 = LET LOW TPS DISABLE CCP 4thNO= 4th Gear N.O. b1, 1 = 16 Hz CCP SOLENIOD IN USE TCCR=TCC Control On=RPM

So it would seem that the correct one is

Switch 16 (VATS TCC-R 4th-NO VATS OLP) - Bit 3 - B3

 

Thanks ULTM8Z. I was wondering about those line items in the Super_8dm2.ecu file that I downloaded from the TurnerPro website. As Tuned Performance said, the VATS disable in 8D is simply a flag that you uncheck. Similar to MAF.
