EFI POW WOW
Just a heads up......
Things are in the works, again.
There will be a EFI POWWOW II
It's a strictly a Hotrod EFI deal. Primarily GM. minor tangents about aftermarket stuff, engine to ecm management relationships, stuff tolerated.
Lots of plug reading. Bring your best glasses. And tools to pull your's if ya want folks to stare at'em.
Adults Only, and this is at my home so Please, Good manners. I hope that is all that needs said.
Anyway, all the software (tunercat, halteck, lectromotive accel fueltronics, diacom). The ecm bench, will be up and running. The GN will be viewable. Ya wanna talk, ecms, this is it. Period. last one was 2 days and 9am Sat morning til midnight Sun took about 15 mins, time worps will occur.
No food or restroom here. Great Food 1 block away, Pizza 1/4 mile.
Bring note paper.
Lots of ground gets covered, Lots.
We had 4 prom burners running and couple guys really took advantage of it <g>...
Some interesting reading material,
DIY WB O2 sensor on display and probably used.
If your disappointed, you didn't ask any guestions. Ain't no dumb guestions here, I have alot more time to give whole answers then the snippets that I post.
Will be spring break or 2 weeks after school ends (medical stuff sets the final schedule, and I just can't control that)
If you been around someone ill prior to coming you Have to tell me. That is a must I am immuno system supressed, If just one or two guys, then I'll ask you to wear masks, more then that and I will, just part of the deal. Just so no surprises.
Cheers
Grumpy
Hey Grumpy,
Will this be open to "newbies" too? I'm just getting started with EFI tuning (tuning in general, for that matter), but this sounds like a great opportunity for someone to drastically shorten the learning curve and soak up some killer knowledge. If you're only looking for guys who know enough to ask moderately challenging questions, I understand...sniff... Although hopefully I won't be a total newbie by then.
BTW, I promise not to make any wet spots on the carpet or anything!

I wouldnt mind coming, its a long way though. Maybe I can talk todd from southwest research into coming. He knows all about the wbo2. I'd like to learn more on everything and hopefully the speed pro will be in.

Damn, that sounds interesting. Not having kids (or being in the US) when approximately will that be? I REALLY would like to try and schedule a vacation around that time and try to make it. It would make one heck of a Diacom run for my readings.
PS, the medical sounds serious. I hope this is not a "time is of the essense" situation. Very sad to hear that, my sincerous regrets.

Period.
It's very unlikely you'll ever see the info., that I have on hand. Anywhere but here. And some interesting GM developement Hardware. Yes the real heads up display mentioned in the sy docs. Not to be confused with the HUD that a jet fighter uses.

Grumpy,
Sounds like an excellent opportunity! It seems like its getting more difficult to find someone these days to share their knowledge, experience, etc. My hats off to you. I wish I had started sooner on chip burning so I could ask more intelligent questions! Anyways, Im about 2-3 hours from Dayton I believe, so count me in if you have room for one more.

Grumpy,
Could you put some directions to your house, that would be just another days drive for me to attend that gathering. I normally drive from Lima to Dayton everything other day to go to College. If everything works out maybe i could meet up with the people from Akron and Toledo when the they are coming by!
Let me know guys,
Brendan

That's ok Ed. I did exactly the same thing. I just waited until I got the equipment and started actually "doing it".
