You mentioned in a reply the oyher day that you installed a switch on the 7730 ecm for a quick power interupt. Do you recall wich orange wire it was? I have 3 but I'm sure its 1 of 2. C16 on the 32 pin connector and B1 on the 24 pin connector are both in circuit 340 and are always hot, I just cant find reference to wich one does what. Is it necessary to learn new cells for every burn? Im trying to find a good injector flow rate to start with since I dont know the size of mine and every time I make a small change I have to drive forever to learn the cells. BTW, how do you get the BLM to settle for an accurate reading? I go thru the rpm range and make 20 - 30 sec pauses to get a good BLM read, but if I start over to double check the readings are totally different. Whats up with that? Anyone want a plane ticket to Atlanta to show me how to do this? I tried correcting the fuel tables twice for idle thru 1600 (measuring while parked) and every time I check they are off again. I MUST be doing something wrong. I thought maybe the injector flow rate was just too far off so now I'm back to trying to get that right. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!

This just keeks getting more and more confusing. Maybe I have something else wrong that is throwing this stuff off. I've been adjusting the injector flow rate: when the BLM is close to 128 thru ithe rpm range in the driveway, they drop to like 108ish driving under light load thru the rpm range and back to 128ish under heavier loads, so I increased the injector flow from 22pph to 26pph, now the unloaded blm is about 156ish in the drive and 118ish under light load. Could the tables be that far off???? I am using the base specs for a 92 305tpi 5spd 3.08 and the fuel tables for a 92 350tpi auto. (92 RS 350TPI 5spd 2.73)

Set the base pulse width to what inj's. you are using and leave it alone.
Go the VE tables and make your adjustments.

Dyno - I would love it if my life could be so simple, but nothing on this car is as it should be, the whole TPI sys was an afterthought. I cant figure out what size the injectors are and the PN doesnt seem to be GM.

Set the injector constant to what seems to be the closest to your current calibration, then start tweaking from there. The chip doesn't HAVE to say what your injector size really is, it just uses it for a calculation

I hate to just butcher my wires aimlessly!

There are three power wires.

Two are always hot. You need to switch both of these. The third is hot with the ignition on.

I'm not positive which one you'll need to alter, go to www.diy-efi.org and check the schmatic for your ECM, it should tell you which is what. It sounds like brent told you what you'll need to know though.

Here is the print for our ECM connectors. although there are no colors, you can go via pin numbers.
