ok got my cable the other day went out on a test drive and all i could get was the raw data? i bought a usb-obd1 cable and set my com port up corectly know its not hardware prob (pc tech by profession) I set it up with a 746 esm because i drive a 92 camaro rs w/305 tbi and thats what car came with. haven pulled dash to check but im pretty confident it was never changed is there a setting anyone can tell that i did wrong. I havent checked this out yet but there is a jumber on the usb connector and spec sheet says that it is in the norm position top l to top r but there is also a setting to short pin a to b do i need to do that? HELP lol new to dataloging and proming lol rough start already

I'm confused ... are you getting absolutely nothing and wondering why? Or are you getting data and are not sure what to do with it? Where did you get your cable from?

I no longer use winaldl but I do remember that when I had a red light it showed incomplete data and found it came from a loose connection or loose cable. The light should be green............
