HSR with lt4 hotcam setup wont seem too idle smooth, injectors?

Ok heres the setup, 355 with 10 to 1 flattops and lt4 hotcam with 1.5 rockers, ported 083 heads with 2.02/1.60 valves, and hsr with ford 24lb injectors and 58mm tb. I had a guy come tune the setup with a wideband hooked up and everything and in the tune he was not able too see why the idle wouldnt smooth out so he sugessted replacing the injectors. It idles fine when cold but when it warms up it jumps 100 to 150 rpms and when put in gear its a little worse like its searchin for a idle. I went out too the junk yard and pulled some bluetops with the same ohms on lbs and put them in too see if it would help and for some reason it dropped my idle about 100rpms and made the miss at idle worse.Ive been stumped on this for a week, any opinions would be greatly appreciated

Are you running a 730?
What BCC did you start with?

If this is $8D then you might look at your main spark table (100 Kpa column) to ensure it matches the closed throttle SA table.
$8D uses the 100 Kpa column to set SA when cold. Once it warms up the closed throttle table takes over.
The other thing would be to log it and see if the idle SA is jumping around due to the RPM error tables. They can add or pull several degrees of timing when the idle RPM error is detected.

Well, as the title of this board suggests...

Buy the stuff to tune and log by yourself from moates or maybe used stuff if you want to save some $$. Post bin and log file here on thirdgen I'm sure someone will help you. Email me otherwise

The sticky at the top of this board has a wealth of info grouped into sections.

if you have a laptop, you're most of the way there. I'd suggest TunerPro RT.

you will have to buy a cable to connect your laptop to the ALDL port, I think that runs about $85 nowadays. I got mine from AKM.

I went through this same baptism by fire. it's scary when you're standing at the threshold but it ain't that bad once you embark.

once you log data and figure out what needs to be done, then you decide whether to take the next step and burn your own chip.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong with your setup?

keep searching the threads, I pretty much have the same set up as you, with the same problem, I've spent a lot of time searching the threads, and especially in the Tuning with the ebl thread. Mine is getting under control, but I've done so much over the course of tuning, I don't remember it all.
