$32 vs $32B

I'm doing a mix and match of TPI parts. I have mostly an 86 305 TPI system, but the wiring and ECM are from an 88 TPI donor vehicle. I plan to use 22lb ~ 23lb injectors when I install the TPI system onto an old school SBC 350.

I've found several $32 & $32B 5.7 liter .bin files, but I am wondering if there is any advantage of using the $32 vs $32B .xdf / definition for a mostly stock old school SBC 350?

My previous TPI experience was using $8D.

Re: $32 vs $32B

I would use $6E and eliminate the 9th injector.

I like the idea of eliminating the 9th injector.

Any other things I should look for in the $6E definition? Mostly I'm trying to keep things simple, so if I need TPI service parts I can say the TPI system is 89 Vette. I'm wondering if the MAF is the same for $32B vs $6E.

Re: $32 vs $32B

Don't forget to disable VATs. And once tuned enable highway mode for better mileage. '86 through '89 TPI used an analog MAF, all the same.

Re: $32 vs $32B

OK, I found out that the injectors Rochester #5235047 are 305 injectors that flow about 19 lb / hr. I am wondering if I change the injector flow in the $6E .bin file, will I be OK with using the 5235047 injectors on a 350?

Re: $32 vs $32B

go to southbayinjectors.com and get the bosch3 22#hr ones. I would not raise the fuel pressure and over work the injectors and risk a o-ring failure.

I dont see why not. They will cycle longer but they should be ok as long as the motor is not modded big time.
