( !! Emergency !! ) Bought new Laptop. Can't get Tunerpro to recognize APU1

I have Windows 8. Been trying everything I can think of.

Driver auto download
Driver manual download
Playing with com Ports
Reading Moates support pages
Reading FTDI support pages

I want to use this ADS. http://www.tunerpro.net/download/dat...1227165_6E.ads

But in no way can I get anything in TunerPro to recognize that I have the APU1 hooked up to my laptop. No left or right clicking anywhere will bring up any reference to the autprom or ADS or Emulating. All of ther Icons are missing which used to be on my old laptop.

Just got my car back together last week after being apart since December. I am desperate to try out new tune I have been working on as well as programming my new WB. (BTW, I gave the old one away to a family member after I did factory data reset. So now I am compeletly screwed until I get this fixed).

Bump.

Hoping for a fix tonight or tomorrow so I'll have all day Sunday to play with it.

Thanks

I'm a dummy. Turns out I downloaded TurnerPro instead of TunerPro RT.

Problem solved.

I was just thinking that as well when you said none of the old icons were there and were missing. I was thinking either opening up the "toolbox" and then remembered there are two versions, TunerPRO and TunerPRO RT.

What would I do without you guys

Tuning was a great success today. Car is running better than ever. I'll post logs in a week or 2 after I make some more adjustments. Looking for suggestions.

Thanks!!
