Mystery fuse

Theirs a fuse that sits in the fender next to the battery. The car wont start without this fuse. Im just curious what this fuse is for.

Probably is the ECM fuse.

it also could be the main fuseable link that comes right off the positive side of the battery... meaning you take it out and the car wont see any juice anywhere!!

could be fuel pump fuse, if your car is TPI then it's probably this... sits in a little connector that's enclosed.

Axle/Gears: 3.08/ 3.23
Due to the name.. I'll assume you have an 88 bird.. The ECM, MAF and fuel pump (on a TPI car) are all powered by this fuse off the battery. TBI would exclude the MAF relays part.
This fuse has nothing to do with the entire power of the car since it is the fuse in the weatherpack you're talking about.

I was thinkin about hookin a cutoff switch to it. I live in the ghetto in Pittsburgh. Whatcha think??? Good idea???
