dome light stays on.. is this causeing my battery to drain over night?
well for some reason my dome light wants to stay on all the time.. even when the cars is not on. i took out the bulb so its not draining any energy from the battery, but in the morning.. or 4 hours later, the battery is dead. could this be my problem.. if so how do i fix this.? i hope this is enough info on my problem.. if not ill post more in the morning. :lala:
Are the lights by the driver and passenger's feet on too? You need to figure out why the dome light is on, there is a circut that may be shorted to ground and causing the drain weather or not the bulb is in.
if the dome light stays on even if you have the door closed then something is wrong.. have you checked the switch for the interior light dimming you might have it all the way up, so that the lights stay on no matter what i have did that a few times before in my other cars.

do your floor lights come on when open the door or turn the switch?
I would check the button switches at each door...they pretty easy to remove...just check to make sure they arent stuck and corroded.

Well if they arent coming on at all I would replace the bulbs to see if they do...other than that I would again look at the headlight switch and the door switches. hmm as a way of determining if your interior lights are drawing power with while the car is parked, I would pull the fuse, if it isnt dead in the morning its your lights...if it is still dead, look elsewhere
