Turn Signals.......

I'm having a problem with my left turn signal in the front fascia of the car ..... it sporatically does'nt work, and in the dash the left turn signal will light green without clicking it...... is there any other way to fix this...I changed the bulb and everything... these lights are the biggest pain in the A** in my car.....Should I just goto the junk yard and look for just maybe the front socket there and cut and splice a new one in or is there somethin else I'm missin??

From: out of my mind; be back in 5 minutes....
Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
If the right side works fine, then the relay is not at fault. It could be as simple as a broken wire in (or to) the socket or a bad ground connection; maybe even corrosion in the socket.

Hey make sure that all the copper elements are still in tact inside the socket. I had a similar problem when my light stopped working.

I actually had a similar problem. Only one side was effected however after time, it seemed to spread to both sides. What was happening to me was that the signal flasher relay was blowing almost every month. I simply got one that was rated "heavy-duty" and the problem has not happened since.
