Alternator Help Needed!!!

Hey guys im having some problems i jus got the motor in everything in it. My question is how do i wire a 1 wire alternator without using a wiring harness. will i be able to jus mount a cable from the alternator to the battery if so what gauge wire will i need. thanks

Yes just hook it up directly to the battery. Get the biggest gauge of wire you can sensibly attach....

is that it that seems almost to easy the stud that is on it doesnt seem very big

Yes it is that easy. What I did was use 2 wires instead of 1 big one, as it is easier to fit crimp connectors to smaller wire, and there is space on the alternator stud for 3 or4 crimp eyelets.

The wire I used was Thinwall 84/0.30mm, 6mm2, 50amps. This translates to 84 cores of 28gauge.

Alright so i need this in easy terms whats awg wire should i use to connect the two..... is the 1 wire alternator internally regulated or do i not know what im talking about (as usual)

One important thing I forgot, use a fusible link where it connects to the battery. If that wire gets pinched to sliced by the belts then you're in a world of trouble. I believe you need something around 12 gauge fusible link wire. It may even be 14 or 10, just ask around.
