wierd headlights..
ok so i just put a new fog light switch in my car and the headlights have been acting funky, when i flip them on sometimes they wont go up... theyll turn on and point at the ground but not go up. pretty sure its not a loose wire because i was just out there with them turned on but they were down and all the sudden they come up. i tried several times and they worked fine, just sometimes they dont wanna work unless you leave them on for a few minutes, then all the sudden theyll pop up. i put my other foglight switch back in to make sure with no change. nothing else has changed with the car. i dont know what it could be

On the firewall. As your facing the car...Right of the engine, left of the brake booster.

I wasn't trying to say that you need to buy that one from him, but they all look the same, so it gives you a good idea of what to look for.
I'll go look at my 87 one, but IIRC, mine looks exactly like that one. I know mine is about 4" square with 2 plugs in it, just like in his pic.

Re: wierd headlights..
When my headlights won't pop up (hasn't happened in over a year now) a light tap on the control box makes them com up.
I either look for a speed bump to run over (typical 2mph, nothing major), road seam, or just standard vibrations from driving. If I turn them on & they don't come up, I just keep driving until they do, or if it really does start to get too dark, I pull over, pop the hood, & tap the box with my hand.
Here's mine off a 89 GTA (on my 87 GTA).

I'd ask TSD about his headlight controllers & the 90. It looks just like my 87 & 89 controllers. As to my knowledge, only the 82-84 (85?) ones were different, because they were 2 individual ones, mounted up by the headlights themselves.
