Any ideas what this connection is?

I found out that I was missing a junction for all my power leads and henryd3 helped me out. Now I got another question. What exactly is this that I put inside of a multi colored box? I can see that they are connections but for what? Thanks in advance guys.

Fuel pump/ECM batt 12v fuse

Black thing bolted to the frame rail is just a cap. Inside is a fan connector with a 20A blade fuse

So then on that fender area, there is 2 enclosed fuses and one cluster of grounding points right? On my 86, there is only one enclosed fuse mounted in that area.

Its one fuse that protects both circuits

Thats not a ground block, its a power block. The wires should be red and connected to the battery. Touching any of them to ground should make quite a spark show and pop loads of fuses/links

Re: Any ideas what this connection is?

Well according to the legend or key on the lower right, the #3 is negative which does show that it is bolted to the frame with 2 ground wires while #2 has the red wires that are positive. My IROC only has one fuse box (not 2 like how it is displayed in the picture) and 1 ground wire. Makes me wonder far the PO went to solve the issue that he may of had in the area.
