Re: 5.3 PINS

What are you expecting to see?

A 5.3 is a swap, so any wiring would have to be a graft of the 3rd gen wiring and the new EFI harness. Every car is different so this question cannot be answered with a simple "pin up"

Werent right where? Several people have followed the guide successfully. You have the added benefit of having a 90-92 car which the guide was written on so all the diagrams posted can be applied 1:1

like for instance, you said pin 8 goes to tps 5vlt rsv, on my harness it was like 48 or somethin like that... there are only a few wires that go with the pinup u've provided... and that's injectors

Re: 5.3 PINS

before attacking any wiring, you really should spend a good amount of time on http://www.lt1swap.com/2000harness.htm like Pocket recommended; its very easy to get overwhelmed on a major swap like this. Get familiar with your 3rd gen wiring (i bought a helms manual) and know what you're seeing on the truck/4th gen stuff. having followed Pocket's guide myself, I know it works.

some of the truck wiring differs from the fbody wiring, its very important to know what your end product is going to be so you get the right tune as well.
