Where to run wires...
Just curious about where you guys like to run your wires in thirdgens from passenger compartment to engine compartment when installing components such as after market gauges, fog lights, or whatever...
Re: Where to run wires...
There are a ton of empty spots in the C100 bulkhead connector. Look around on the driver's firewall near the steering column. There may be knock outs blocking holes for options the car might not have, like cruise control. If all else fails, drill a hole in a spot you can see from both sides of the firewall, where it won't be in the way, pop in a grommet and run your wires.

Re: Where to run wires...
If you have a mechanical speedo the best place to go through firewall is there. The hole is much larger than the cable to allow the ends to pass through. I took out the factory grommet and cut a bigger hole in the grommet and reinstalled and it gave me plenty of room to pass decent sized connectors through for gauges, remote radar detector, and front scanner. I'm curious if the hole is in the firewall on electronic speedo cars?

I had always used the kick panel area just above where the ecm harness routes through. You can drill there and no one sees it or you may already have an opening you can pass it through. Just route it out like the ecm harness then.

I ran my new wiring through a knock out just above the C100 location. Also where the ecm plug runs through behind the passenger kick panel too.

Re: Where to run wires...
Sounds like you're looking for access through the driver side.
If for some reason it is more convenient to run out the passenger side, I ran my amplifier wire out that side. You can follow the steps beginning here.
