Anyone know what this connector goes to??,

In the process of replacing my heater core and discovered this random plug under a trim piece. Any idea what it does or if it’s important??

It’s on the left.

I don't recognize it. A better photo of the plug showing the wire colors might help.

Hmm, not sure. Pink and Purple could be related to the cruise control, but that plug doesn't look familiar. Could be something that was removed, or wires for an option the car didn't ever have.

Here's how the items in that area lay out in my T/A.

In my car, the UQ7 Subwoofer Amplifier is to the left of the cruise module, where that plug is on your car. I don't really recall what that plug looked like.

Almost looks like a socket for a relay, like the power antenna relay to the right of the cruise module.

Sorry I can't be more definitive than that.

Re: Anyone know what this connector goes to??,

It doesn't look like the amp plug to me, I've had a few of those over the years. The power antenna relay wire would be a thin 3 wire connector that would plug into one side of the relay, and the antenna would plug into the other. That kind of connector is usually an inline connection rather than a device connection. Like another harness would plug in there. But i can't think of anything that uses that type of connector that would be in that location.

That connector with the red, purple and white wire is one of the connectors for the subwoofer module. Specifically that connector would be from the subwoofer switch and slider control.
