Re: WANTED- BIG trans cooler. bigger the better
How about just daisy chaining another "small" cooler, to fit into a good airstream source?
Re: WANTED- BIG trans cooler. bigger the better
Negative on the hooking up another small cooler, too much of a pressure drop.
I have a brand new trans cooler that's for a F350 Super Duty pick-up. The dimensions are 23X14 inch.
PM if interested.

Not trying to steal anybodies sale or send it elsewhere, but I've had a great experience with a Fluidyne unit I picked up on eBay with my Colorado- comparable to the B&M/Long Tru Cool units, and much less money for a LOT more size and cooling ability.

Do you have it looped through he stock cooler in the radiator tank? You'll never get good cooling without it (fluid transfers more heat than air...). As far as pressure drop, it should be insignificant, and even if it is it doesn't matter, the fluid goes through the pump before it gets used in the trans (you'd blow up a cooler if you ran it on the pressure side)

Re: WANTED- BIG trans cooler. bigger the better
I've got a monster trans cooler, about 10" tall and over a foot wide. $35 takes it

Re: WANTED- BIG trans cooler. bigger the better
I would be very careful about using the A/C condensor. The A/C compressor can create small metal shavings that if introduced to your transmission will stick the valves in your valve body causing internal damage. Just my 2 cents, but I would use the cooler for the super duty Ford. I modified a cooler from a Taurus SHO to fit my 92 and it works great with a PI 2800 stall converter.

Re: WANTED- BIG trans cooler. bigger the better
That would only help at low speeds. You'd be better off with either a Black Magic 180 or a LS1 dual fan setup.
