LS1 brake setup

I pulled my old LS1 brake setup in favor of a larger set. Worked perfectly fine when I pulled it and I only put ~750 miles on it. The calipers were rebuilt by myself with new seals and Orings and hardware. I painted the abutment brackets and back half of the calipers red and polished the front. If you don't care for that look you can easily scuff the surface and paint it all red. The lines are Earl's braided stainless steel for a thirdgen. These lines have several thousand miles on them but still work fine. The rotors were stock off a Trans Am, the new thickness is 1.26 and this pair has a thickness of 1.255" which is well above the minimum of 1.209". The pads are nothing to write home about, just off the shelf ceramics with almost no use. The spindles were modified by me and I completely smoothed out the entire piece. No sharp ridges or rough spots on them anymore. Painted semi-gloss black. The spindles were taped for metric fasteners which are included. The brackets are included also. Only thing not included will be the hubs as I reused mine. If you need a pair to machine I can send you my old thirdgen rotors. I think $400.00 shipped is a fair price. At this time I am not interested in separating unless you are splitting it with another member.

Re: LS1 brake setup

I know you said you weren't splitting it up. But I would be interested in the spindles brackets and earls lines. Just putting it out there in case someone wants the rest of the stuff.

I'll buy the brackets and spindles, no need for the earl lines though. If someone else wants to buy the calipers and rotors, I'll go in with you. And, I'll out pay the guy above me for them too.

Re: LS1 brake setup

Not sure if I would be interested in breaking this up yet, but shoot me an offer and I may think about it.

Re: LS1 brake setup

Good price for whats included! I am in the process of doing this to my car as well. If someone needs the hubs you can buy them online if you dont want to deal with machining the rotors down.
