It needs to be from a Camaro since I just found out a firebird one will not work

Camaro and firebird are same on everything on the engine. I have cable for you if you still need.

Battery is on opposite side.I have one from a trans am but it won't work.Alternator cable is too short

it shouldn't matter if its a Camaro or firebird. My 86 trans am had a drivers side battery my 91 formy has a passenger side battery. it just depends on options
