you can pretty much use everything if you wanted to. you can even use the 305 heads and intake if you want, although im sure you know that they wont perform that well.
are you talking about accesories?
we need more infomation on what your planning on doing...ie. fuel injection/carb, etc.

sorry... i should have gone more indepth into it... it will definatly have the TPI setup from my 305 put back on... and 24 lb injectors a buddy has for a while at least... what i was referring to was the accessories such as balancer? flexplage? flywheel? oil pan? type stuff... i know the TPI stuff will bolt on fine... i might have to put the stock heads back on until i get a chance to make the money for the heads i am planning for it... and i know the stockers will bolt back on fine for the breakin process... starve it a little but it will work...

if u do a stroker type motor and use the balancer off the 305 make sure u have the two with each other when the machine shop balances it for you.
If you build a 350 you can use the original flywheel or flexplate, and the original harmonic damper. If you build a 383 you will need the flywheel/flexplate and harmonic damper from a small block 400. The 305/350 cranks were internally balanced, but the 400 crank was externally balanced. Therefore you will need an externally balanced harmonic damper and flywheel/flexplate. If not it will shake like crazy and you may even break parts.

yeah i knew i would need a new pan for the 383... i just didn't know if the regular 305/350 stuff would bolt on right... from the looks of my small budget i am gonna go with the 355 now... i am probably gonna find a 350 short block in a bone yard though so i can just throw that pan/balancer/flexplate/dampener on there and minimize downtime...
