Oil Pan Fitment
Okay just bought a 355 out of a 67 camaro. I was thinking of things that might be a problem when I thought about the oil pan. Could anyone tell me if a 67-69 camaro oil pan will clear the crossmember on a 88 Iroc. Thanks for the help.

Somebody doesn't seem to be following the dancing monkey - The year of the car ('82-'92) doesn't matter. The year of the engine does matter.
If the 350 out of the '67 is of '67-'79 vintage, then no factory 3rd gen oil pan will fit the block - period. You need an oil pan made for that older type of block.
Most likely, the oil pan that is currently on that engine will fit in your chassis just fine. But, with an engine that's almost 40 years old, it's impossible to say what modifications may have been made to it. Therefore, whether or not the oil pan that was on the engine when it came out of the '67 will work in an '88 is next to impossible to say without actually seeing the pan.
