Big Block motor mounts

I have heard a couple of things, one is that i can use the stock frame mounts and stock small block, block mounts, and the other that i heard is that i can use the stock frame mounts and use big block motor mounts. So is it true that i can use the stock block and frame mounts from the small block on my big block. Or do i have to get big block mounts.
Thanks
Mike

Yes, the stock CSB engine mounts will work with the CBB. You probably want to buy a new heavy duty pair.

urethane small block mounts like those from energy suspension are even better for the extra weight and twist that you're gonna give it......

If you are going with Hooker 2226 headers use the sbc frame mounts and engine side mounts. The bbc engine side ones I had didn't leave enough room for the headers.

no, not stock, unless you're running a decent stall to take the stress off of the mounts. use the stocke clamshells (block mounts) but use urethane frame mounts.

you have a loose enough converter, you shouldn't break them anyway. I ran the poly ones because i had the money, and my stall is only a 2400. still a pretty big KA-THUNK when it goes into gear. use a poly trans mount, when you get the funds, though. you'll break those left and right.
