My L98?
Well, i've been reading on TPI, and it has both its ups and downs. Tho my L98 is 90% built, and ready to run.. i am starting to think about going with a modified LT1 intake, and selling the TPI intake setup, and not loosing all that much money.
Just need to figure a few things out first.
The 88 Iroc this engine is going in had a 305 TPI.. obviously MAF, and want to use the same harness/ECM. I already have a L98 thermomaster prom to run a 350.
If i buy an LT1 intake, and send it to LT1intake.com, have them mod it for my heads and block off the MAP port, Will everything function as if i were to be running my MAF TPI? i will use the same throttle body and sensors, maf sesnor from the TPI..etc. I found a ported LT1 intake that is sick for $150 on the bay, im thinking hard about doing this.. so let meh know what hell i would run into doing this!

Re: My L98?
You might have better luck getting an answer to your question on the 'TPI' or 'EFI' specific boards, instead of the engine swap board here. I'd like to help you, but I don't know enough about it to tell you anything with any certainty.
Good luck!

Re: My L98?
LT1intake i dont beleive is doing that swap anymore. many ppl have tried to contact him and havent heard anything. Its possible to do it yourself or buy one thats already converted
IF you do get one, it will work just fine with TPI wiring harness. Just have to relocate the sensors in the proper position. Only thing that doesnt work is the cold start injector that the 88 has... get rid of that in the prom. i'd convert to the 6E mask from 89 anyway as its alittle better and has no cold start injector
Other option thats alittle more money is the HSR. 650 will have it in the car running
