Dominion 32V Heads?
Dominion 32V Heads?
I know a couple of years back Super Chevy did a couple of articles on Dominion 32V Heads for a single cam SBC. Does this company still exsist? If they do, do they have a Web Site? Thanks for any help/info.

I have been reading on the Arao heads...got a quote on their b2 heads..those things rack up over 5grand for the pair...but they are saying if you get the engine balaced and all that you can get rpm ranges up to 9000. Also saying they can add 175 hp just from the their heads alone

I looked at the Dominion heads about 2 years ago and got all the info from the company and talked to the engineers. The only real custom work you need done is to clearance the block for the pushrods. Pretty simple to get them on. However, they are bucks. $4K to step into them and they go up from there if you want any options. They work best below 6000 rpm and .6 lift. After that a big 2-valve head can keep up. So what this means is they are AWESOME on the street. I don't remember the exact numbers but I they did a test where they took a stock LT-1 Camaro engine and put on a high performance aluminum head. (I talked to them and it turns out they were AFR 195 heads which are great). The stock LT-1 pumped out like 380 HP after that. After swapping to the Dominion heads it pumped out like 475 HP or something along those lines. The heads are awesome. They are basically equivilent to slapping on a blower. But I decided not to use them because of the cost. I can get a blower for cheaper. Plus, i would rather have one of the Coates rotary valve heads. But I looked in to those too and they are not making them for vehicles. Only industrial applications. Why they've had so many write ups in magazines I'll never know because they have no intention of selling them.

what do ya plan on doing with this car? 32 valve heads are sweet looking but could you imagine what kinda intake setup you would need to run to get any benifitial power outta them
