HELP PLEASE!!! want to take my 3.1 to a 350 4 bolt main
I would just like to know what all I would need to replace as in radiator, transmission (700R4) and other stuff like that. What all would I have to do to the fuel pump since I'm planning on switching to carbed on this swap? Also I would like to put some sort of posi rear in. What would be the cheapest/easiest way to do that?

if you have a 700r4 it will work. this is what i do to see if parts will interchange. go to www.autozone.com, choose your vehicle and part, then see if the car with the other options have the same part number.

A 3.1 TH700 won't work with a V8.
The 3rd gen 3.1 radiator is the same thing as a 3rd gen V8 radiator.
The 3rd gen 3.1 radiator is the same thing as a 3rd gen V8 radiator.

"TH700" is short for "TH700R-4".
Both the V6 and V8 4-speed overdrive transmissions used in 3rd gen f-bodies are TH700R-4's, but the bell housing and internals are different. The main issue is you can't bolt a 3rd gen f-body V6 TH700R-4 to a V8.

ur best bet is to just go find a v8 style 700r4 dont waste ur time on a th350
