No spark after water under hood

I have ls1 swapped 86 z28. Car started but ran rough, due to aftermarket cam. Sent ecm off for reprogramming. During that time I had hood off for a while, and it rained under the hood for a few moments. I installed the retuned ecm. Now i have no spark. All fuses are good. Relays have power at correct legs. All grounds are good. Fuel pump is running. Checked injectors with power probe and meter, has signal and power. I have no codes in scantool. Tried starter fluid in intake.pulled dipstick, smell gas in oil.
What should I test next, cam an crank sensor? I do have a small amount of water behind intake near cam sensor.will a bad temp sensor cause this? (Read that somewhere). And can I rule out fuel pressure sender? ( didnt have one on last swap). Thanks for any help I can get.

Re: No spark after water under hood

Update: changed ignition relay, tried to crank it. It attempted to fire up then died out. Tried it two times, same result. During cranking I had rpm, and oil pressure. Went to get a helping hand, tried to crank it, nothing😤. Now rpm just jumps then goes back to zero. Now I'm thinking it's the cam or crank position sensor. Which one of these would give me fuel with no spark? Can someone give me a suggestion plz!

Re: No spark after water under hood

I'd be accusing the ecm first. Not a little rain.

Re: No spark after water under hood

I have actually been thinking that, but I've been trying to give the tuner the benefit of the doubt(frost). Checked spark today, getting spark, oil pressure is rising, and I'm also getting an occasional bloop bloop, but the ether still isnt cranking it. I'm assuming the injectors are still firing because I have spark, (assuming).also the rpm is jumping, so I haven't instaledl the cam position sensor I have. So yea Im feeling like it's the ecm for sure. I plan2 pull the fuel rail an insure I'm getting fuel out injectors tomorrow.
thanks for the the suggestion and reply. Any more suggestions?

Re: No spark after water under hood

I'd use a noid light on the injector harness instead for seeing if fuel is coming out. Then that defines closer to whether the injectors are and issue or the ecm telling the injectors to fire or not.

Re: No spark after water under hood

And I've had good tuners give me bad programs before. It's not too uncommon. One of the reasons tuning over mail order, more else without the car, isn't a way to tune that I chose to do anymore

Re: No spark after water under hood

I see your point. Well I can rule out crank position sensor, installed that today with no luck. I dont wanna keep guessing at this, and throwing parts at it.ill give the noid light a try. Then If that doesnt work I'm gonna swap ecm's with a stock one. Thanks for the help

Re: No spark after water under hood

Getting closer. Maf is only recieving 1.5 volts from pcm, and cam position sensor has high resistance in the circuit, at the pcm. Gotta figure out what these two things have in common. Gonna pull intake and check wiring today.
