Attention Mark...question about the hooker catback.

I finally listened to the clip and wow sounds so much deeper and better than my junk flowmaster. Anyways did you install it yourself? Is it one piece? I was just wonder how hard it would be to get the 3 inch intermediate pipe over the axle. Im definetly getting it when i sell my rims and get paid. sounds really good now i just need to find someplace that will make me a 3inch y pipe. `I know it can be done but noplace wants to do it (lazy bastards)

He has a 350 4BBL and an entire 3" exhaust system. Its gonna be different than a 305 TBI with the setup you have and just a Flowmaster. Its gonna sound better no matter the muffler. Flowmaster is the nicest IMO, but its gotta be done right.

he still has the dinky cam in that 350 so it wont sound that much different. besides i hope to have a 350 in my car by the end of summer. I will also be running all 3inch exhaust from hooker headers or possibly edelbrock depending on whether i can find a place that will do it or not.

I have the WORST cam of all time. 390/410 lift, can't wait till that's ripped out.

I didn't have it installed myself, cause I bought the $200 one and needed some fab work to fit the cat. And needed a new hanger on the pass side.

But from what I hear people even with 305's are happy with it.

are the edelbrock headers good? think they will outflow the hookers? i say the edelbrock header and y pipe will outflow the hookers with a crappy y pipe anyday.

I hear most people say the TES are among the most restrictive headers. Not too mention if you do get them, be sure to order the ones for the 350, this way you'll get a 3" y-pipe, I think.

I wish I would have bought Hooker headers myself.
