anyone know how to run true duels on third gen?
anyone know how to run true duels on third gen?
i went to the muffler shop the other day and they told me that i couldnt run true duels with cut offs. they said the flowmasters would scrape. anyone know if i actually can anyhow? would like to know. thanks
We'uns got a new-fangled thingy on this-here board...it's called a "search" button. You might wanna check it out...
Yes, it is possible, but it cuts your clearance somewhat, depending on the diameter of your pipes, how you route them, size of the mufflers, etc...and it is quite difficult to get a shop to route them over the rear axle.

Jesu take it easy on teh guy he's got 3 f'in posts. Srry man sometime these guys get pissy. hope that pic helps it was posted about a month ago and the Track bar is Granatelli not Comp. Eng.
that exhaust is nice but not what i had in mind. i was wanting it with turn downs infront of the axle and was wondering if anyone has done it without getting bigger rims. the exhaust i have now is 3in coming from hooker super comp headers to a single 3 1/2 in pipe under the body over rear axle to my flowmaster, but i want what is described above, curious if it could be done with 3in. pipe to two 40 series flowmasters with turndowns. without bigger rims ofcourse.

I have seen the headers to mufflers to turndowns thing done before and it worked out just fine. The only problem is there is no way to put two flowmaster 40 series mufflers under your car without losing some serious ground clearance. I would suggest using a 4" round muffler such as a dynomax bullet instead, that way you could still go up drive ways.
