where can I find a cut out before my cat

I'm installing headersa, cat and muffler...

When I do this, my car is going to be quiet and have back pressure, Daily driver as well,

Is there any place that I can get the cut out that goes before the cat that I can pull, (like a cable) and it open the exhaust before the cat... and then release the cable when i'm dont racing?

also, What is it called? I know theres real name for it...
thanks

Its called a cutout. I have one, but I gotta unscrew it to take it off. Mine is right before the cat. I ordered it from summit and a muffler shop welded it in for me. They also sell mechanical ones.

Jeg's does sell a cable cut-out but it only fits up to size 2 1/4 exhaust and it has to be brazed on and it's darn near impossible to find people that still braze.

Checkout this web site.

I found them on ebay and they start at 2.25" diam. They seem to be much higher quality than I've seen in JC WHITNEY.

I thought you said that you were looking for something that went BEFORE the cat? The one that Tas shows is before the MUFFLER. That will have very little effect compared to one before the cat. Well, I guess that depends on what muffler you're running.

Anyway, good luck.
