not too happy

I bought hedman longtubes and put them on, they looked great and all but when i went to put exhaust on i realized it was gonna be nearly impossible cause i was gonna follow the stock route with 2 pipes. To do this i would have to cross the pipe from the left side over to the right and i would have no ground clearance. So now i have to ditch the longtubes and get shorties. But the guy who is doin it told me the pipe is only gonna be able to be 2" maybe 2 1/4 large to both fit next to each other along the stock route which suck for 375hp engine. So i'll have true dual exhaust with bullet mufflers but with 2" pipes... which i think sucks. But i'll most likely be sellin the longtubes. Im so pissed.

Also where i can i get cutouts that can be opened by a cable or electric cutouts

i think im just gonna go with american thunder cat-back, shorties and a y-pipe, much easier.

Could i just get this at summit? I have an 83 firebird but i only see american thunder systems for 86 and up, help?

86-91 has a 3 inch i pipe where as the others for single cat cars are smaller.

I'm pretty sure it will as long as your catalytic converter is 3 inch or if you dont have one then your y pipe has to be 3 inch as well. The best way to go is to order headers with a y pipe for the 86-91 with the 3 inch slip fit cat and then get the matching catback.

Runnin 2'' duals on a 375hp motor not only sucks, it's a waste of time and money.
