plug access with hooker 2055

before I order them I wanted to ask about changing sparkplugs with a set of hooker 2055 hedders. Can you get to them to change or check them without taking off the hedders. thanks

Yes you can, I just did all mine. I had to grind down a spark plug socket and use a ratcheting wrench, but it wasn't bad at all.

It isn't to bad. All plug to header access is made simple with one of these jobbys. You can make one of your own or be lazy like me and get one off ebay for $9.

Yep, thats about the size I cut mine down to. A ratcheting wrench made it even easier.

Changing the plugs if you have headers is a lot easier than changing them with the stock manifolds. #8 is still a pain though Just get/make the special socket and you will be set.

One of the things I did was take a spark plug socket and take out one section of it. I cut down one flat spots and not can put the socket in from an angle.
