If it's factory it will have the 2 1/2 inch cats. I would just buy the single cat version and get a Flowmaster "Y" pipe. The single cat pipe is longer than the dual cat version. Just cut it to length to fit the newly installed Flowmaster "Y" pipe. The factory Y-Pipe is robbing you horsepower and that is why I recommend that you change it out.

Check with Magnaflow or Dynomax for a dual outlet muffler system. The single outlet usually is good for a little better flow and HP.

I have not seen all the kits available but I have not seen any cat back exhausts that come with a new Y-Pipe.

It will hurt you. That is about equal to one bank of your exhaust from the engine. You need to take the time and search for a Cat-Back of at least 3 inches.

I just checked Summit Racing and they sell the FLO-17233 Flowmaster cat back with a 3" tailpipe and dual outlet muffler. Sounds like what you are looking for. The Flowmaster part number will be 17233.

The one with the 3 inch tail pipe will work. Two 2 1/2 inch exhaust pipes is larger than one 3 inch tail pipe. So the one you have selected will work just fine.
