OBX Long Tubes On a L98 with a T-56
OBX Long Tubes On a L98 with a T-56
OBX Headers on L98 with a T-56.
Header Flanges needed a little work to get the Header bolt holes to line up with Head, Nothing major. I lined them up on a spare set of heads.
Left Side Took some Bending (Torch and Light Hammer Taps) to clear the slave housing of T-56. FYI, the Steal is pretty good, Held up against the Torch and Hammer. Right Side went right in from bottom (while tilting motor).
I rapped the fuel lines but the best bet may be to relocate them.
Header have excellent ground clearance, Tuck up and hang no lower than oil pan. Y-Pipe Sucks, needs to be modified, Sound is Nice and Deep.
All in All money well spent.

What is above the DS collector, 2nd pic?
And blue anodized into the trans?
Hope the heat management you've done works long-term. I am a fan of cer. coating. But I might do a slightly spaced sheet metal shield in between the collector and slave.

Optional Trans cooler.
T-56 is upgraded by Tick Performance.
Yea I thought of a heat shield too, but it's really tight in there.
The performance gain was on the money, the car pulls better at any RPM now when compared to the shorty's I had.

OBX
Modification is necessary but not that extensive.

Also, Since i have the T5 for now, did you leave the shield that covers the slave cylinder? Or did you remove it and wrap it up and the fuel lines as well. theres a chap on here who's selling them and i am very interested.
