you want used heads/new heads? What is too much? What are you looking to do with/to your car? Blind recommendations are everywhere, if you want good answers or possibly the best one, we might need a bit more info from you as far as your expectations. You've given a start by telling us its a 305 tbi, if you look in the tbi section of the forum there are a number of stickies, and individual posts on good heads depending on application.

 

im looking for used heads that are pretty good im willing to spend between 50-200 im not in desperite need for them i would like to get them to have because mine are getting worn out im just looking to get power out of my motor i got a comp cam coming and an edelbrock intake manifold coming.

I already have headers full exhaust chipped ud pulley set ram air intake off the tbi msd wires cap rotor and accel header plugs and more but i still want more out of it. btw thanks for telling me about the tbi section ill go look at the stuff on there.

are they stock heads? and are they in decent shape anything wrong with them?

 

yes stock 081 heads still on motor car ran fine

I have a set of heads still bolted to the block out of my '88 IROC. $50 and they're yours. Shipping might be the only issue. I could send them via Greyhound Shipping...would save you some coin. 85,000 original miles on the motor and ran fine when i pulled it.

I have a set of REman. 305 high output heads off a TBI with 8,000 miles. Nothing wrong with them. I installed a 350 a year after installing these on my last motor. Hard set of heads to find. $75.00 plus shipping. In Maryland
I also have a set of reman from the machine shop. never used TBI heads from a 350 motor with big valves. This will also bolt right up to a 305. valves been cut , newseals, milled, presser checked. Big up grade and HP for your 305. $150.00 plus shipping
