350 Engine Brace?

Using this part as i guide, I was hoping to fabricate an engine brace, but i wanted ideas from people on where on the motor and chasis it should be mounted?

Any thoughts?

EDIT: Or should solid engine mounts be my first defence again engine movement?

Any chance of a pic mate? Keen to see where on the head you bolted it to.

I used a short piece of log chain that goes from the from to an empty bolt hole on the lower half of the motor. It is very concealed. It is very cheap to, maybe a dollar and an hour of work.

My ’83 TA used to chronically destroy driver’s side mounts and I finally ran a length of chain from the driver’s side head to one of the K member blots (one of the ones that holds the triangular brace between the front of the k-member and the driver’s side frame rail)

Thats all i needed to know. I've got the solid mounts on the way, but i might hold off on installing them and see if this chain method solves my problem first.
