I think you should quit while your ahead. Lets not have a fast and the furious old stand with a RlCER motor in it. Made me wanna punch babies in the face.

good luck with the swap! Its always better to be different!

I heard radial but thought rotary... oops my bad.
Rotary engine can be found in (but not limited to) what I believe is a RX7 by mazda I think, no pistons looks like a triangular type of wheel that spins, very high revving but still sounds and looks like a RlCER to me.

Radial engine is an airplane engine with pistons its 2am and I've been up for 20hrs.

Uh sweet, it sounds "meaner"

Good thing thats the only thing it does "better"

There is a certain lack of intelligence contained within your posts, and a lack of logic as well it would seem.

Honestly you want to get into this? What Does it do better? lets see, Its meaner, it makes prob at least double the power as your LQ9, It weighs just about as much as a fully dressed iron SBC, runs on pump gas shall i go on? It took more brains to figure everything out and to stuff it into a car that isn't even designed to take the same family of engines. Its driven on the street, car shows and then to the track.

So please tell me what yours does better? gets alittle better MPG? Big Woop!!!

Its one thing to attack a post (which i admitted to mixing up rotary and radial) but then to attack someones integrity. Why don't you go work on making your car "better" than mine and Im sure your other 4,000+ posts are just as useless as these are now.

Lets get some updates on the viper motor!

Let me know when you're close enough for a run, we'll see just how well it makes all that power

Re: Viper Powered 85 Z28

You do realize that to even "double" the power of a stock LQ9, you'd need to have it make 700 HP, right ?

Can you even count that high ?

Yeah, back to the viper motor ! Respect it ! its giant and makes 400 HP out of a miniscule 8.0L

Eeesh, this swap really is as terrible as I thought.

Goodness the 2.0 I took out of my car made 3/4+ that power with 1/4 the displacement, that is PITIFUL.

Let alone if we compared the weight of both, better RESPECT THAT, cause its got 8+ cylinders.

Haha this guys seems to **** on every thread thats not the typical cookie cutter swap. Not sure if be gets bored, maybe ultimate troll, or is insecure so needs to talk down other builds to make himself feel better? Who knows its really annoying tho.

This thread stopped being anything even close to anything resembling a "build" or "fabrication" long ago.

If only people who couldnt get either done couldnt start posting about it on the interwebs without being done first, and those that cant do either couldnt whine about those who can, and are realistic about it, on the internets.

Pennocks is a bunch of elementary school crybabies who rate you badly if you don't worship them. Try to give independently verifiable technical facts, you get banned. That was a large part of why I got out of Fieros. I had 2, one was a 350 swap I did. The other was an LM7 swap I did.
Same thing nearly happened to me here, under one of the 8 user names I've used since tgo started. I've been here from the beginning.
But I love these cars more than I love Fieros, and I have more experience with them. Plus they come with more headroom and more structural integrity. You wouldn't believe how much you can twist a Fiero chassis, just changing a tire using a floor jack on the rear bumper mounts. Also, the other Fiero forum was even worse.

If you couldn't post until it was finished, a lot would never get finished, or even start.
The Viper swap would be cool except for cost, the Ram version makes little sense, but still holds more appeal than any BBC swap, the turbo LSx option makes the most sense and has the mos advantages, but there's still an allure to large displacement that even a turbo LSx can't kill.

If you don't have Pick-N-Pull yards, you're the one not on Earth. Getting 550 HP from ANY 454 with nothing but porting the production iron heads, a no-overlap-at-0.050" HR cam, and headers, will never happen. You wanna spend $2500 on a pair of AFR 315s, that's easy, but getting the $2500 isn't. so it's still a fail.
