How much does an 86sc weigh?
how many pounds are thirdgen cars? i have an 86 sport coupe, no ground effects, stripped down thing lol does have ac/heat though, how much do cars similar weigh without the driver?
i have a V6 car, but im more interested in V8's weights, (after i swap for a V8, just wonderin for 1/4 mile references lol) any V8 car's weights? any dam threads that post a few cars and info with weighing in info? lol im mostly interested in V8 sc's... w/out a/c, no crazy stereos that add a few hundred pounds, just a stock car.
, or anything close, ill stop talkin/typin now, bad habbit
thanks!

If you are lucky enough to find the build sheet, it should tell you the exact weight of the car when it left the factory I attached an example which is actually in rough shape, but the car's "Ship" weight was 1991 front + 1327 rear, or 3318 pounds total.

I forgot to mention that the car I listed above is a 1982 LG4 V8 Firebird, hardtop, A/C, with its share of power options, but not completely loaded. Most thirdgen's I've seen are in the 3250 - 3450 range but I'm sure there are exceptions. I'm guessing your car would be in the high 3200's when new. Today though, you have to guesstimate, based on the amount of mods it's had done to it.

if thats right... i would say 3250 to 3450 pounds = approx 1470 to 1566 kilos.
3250 divided by 3 is about 1083, closest on that list to 1083 is 1080, which is equal to 490 kilos, multiply that by 3, and ya get a rough ballpark figure of 1470 kilos for 3250 pounds, then do the same to 3450 pounds, and you get about 1566
theres prolly a formula or somethin but its only approx with a chart like that.

there's an easier way.
Pounds multipled by 0.453 = kilos.
1000 pounds = 453 kilos, etc.
