Here's 2 options. One, you can have the retailer send you samples to compare to your carpet. Two, check the RPO for your interior trim, it usually begins with an 8 and look it up on this site. Give the color it gives you to the carpet retailer, and see if they can match it.

822 is correct, grey leather. I believe the official GM name for it is medium dark grey.

 

I don't know where these crackheads come up with 5 different shades of gray for thirdgens. There were only two shades of gray. They don't overlap at all. From 82-84 or maybe 85, the was Charcoal. Its a really dark gray, almost black or brown. from 85 or 86-up there was medium dark gray. Camaro or Firebird doesn't matter, only the two different grays were ever used.

Other GM products had various shades of gray, but the fbody only had two different grays.

 

Wait Drew, don't forget sand grey code 60I used in '83 & '84.
So now we have three.

 

My 83 has a sand grey interior (60B). Although the name says grey, it is really more of a beige color.

 

Yup, I've got an '84 Z28 with code 60C interior. Beige, Lt. Grey or what ever you want to call it, it's too light of a color for an interior and a biotch to clean!

 

I have a 86 iroc z28 and i don't know what was the original interior color. How can I get this information?
