Let me tell you about those floormats! Hard to find, expensive to buy. Sometimes there is a set on ebay by a seller named PERRYPAM and he has brand-new OEM mats. I bought a set off him a while back in Med DK Gray for $102.50. Next set sold for $76.50, that all depends on demand at the time. If I could post a pic I would but if you deal with PERRYPAM he has new ones and the're's no BS. They look great I use them for shows and there are so few cars out there that still have these that it's a really nice touch. Most people that drove their cars regularly just used them up and pitched them, they are just like regular mats, they don't last forever.
If you can find them I say pay the price for them, I think it's worth the $102.50 to have one of very few sets, especially in perfect shape!

BTW, the GM mats have a GM rubber tag glued to the carpet on the top of the mat. Can't miss it. That's the most distinguishable mark, but I doubt you'll find any in junkyards.
Good luck.

The parts department-sourced service mats have the square GM logo on the front of the front mats only. The OE mats, as thrown in the car during production, look exactly the same but do not have the GM logo on them.

Not all of them have the logo...

I picked up a NOS set of mats (still in the original paper envelope) for $40, the drivers side has the logo, passengers doesn't. The mats for the backseats don't have the logo at all.

Luckily, I had the foresight to purchase front floor mats from GM years ago when they were available. They have long been discontinued and unless you can find them NOS (new old stock), I don't know who has them. I realized that because these floor mats are virtually impossible to find and not replaceable, I decided NOT to use them in my convertible, except at car shows. My decision to do this was made easier knowing that the full carpeting for our cars are reproduced by many suppliers. Here's a pic of the part number sticker (black mats) from the original box.
