Can't help but question the mileage. The interior looks the part, but who's going to rebumper, and repaint a car with mileage that low? Odd that the filler panel between the front bumper cover and rad support is missing. Was it smashed? Looks like the hose diagram and emissions/tune-up label are stuck to the rad support. WTF.

Would be interesting to see the paperwork and history on the car. Was it common to upgrade bumpers between 82-84 and the 85+? Was the IROC look something people wanted over the early thirdgens?
While I'd prefer the 84 bumper and decals, I like the car, especially if it hasn't been wrecked.

There's a few things that make you go hmmm! Looks clean other than the exterior isn't quite right. Maybe it was poorly stored and needed cosmetic work to clean it up? But then why not stock for the year. Are 84 body parts hard to find?

Since they made about 101,000 84 Z28s, the parts have never really been hard to find. It's been a popular thing to peel and stick some IROCZ decals on the door since the first Maroon laid eyes on an Iroc. So it's possible that someone really wanted the Iroc look. I just see a car like this and the most likely explanation, that fits the facts is the car got smashed, and these are the parts the owner had, or could get cheap, so that's what they used to flip the car from Trash to Smash. Even if it were 100% accurate, it's one of 101,000 1984 Z28s.
