I found atleast 20 Pot stems in the map pocket of my 91 and a rubber wrapper in the rear seat. Idk who could possibly fit back there to even use the condom. In my 85 I found a ton of what appeared to be used tissues and in the hatch there was a bottle of Johnson's baby oil.. Yeaaa, I found the tissues before the oil..

I found a little square piece of cardboard with the name "Emma Rimmer" stamped on it under the carpet ,pass rear. I dont know if it's an assembly line thing or just some random scrap from over the years . As a 46 year old with the maturity of an 8th grader the name made me chuckle . I also found a 1/4 drive snap on extension. Car is a 1987 firebird V6.

I found a .380 pistol under my driver seat, there was a slit in the carpet and it was slide in with the holster, it was loaded with hollow points!!! slide and barrel were kinda rusty but it cleaned up. Had my buddy's dad run the pistol, came back clean, still got rid of it though

i drove my car for 8 months after buying it before the engine blew up. it sat 4 years before getting fixed. left the window open one night and it rained a lot. while i was cleaning the water up off the floor, found a small container of marijuana seeds under the passenger seat. was not mine, nor anyone i ever had in the car.

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c
My god alot of you guys found some weird crap in your cars.
I have had mine torn down to a shell and never found one thing in it (not even some change), guess I got lucky.
And I bought mine as a roller with pretty bad paint that was sitting for a few years too.

I have never found anything but change in my 3rd gens. However I had a 87 mustang coupe and found a cross. Ok maybe not weird but I couldn't bring my self to ride in a mustang so I swapped it out for a 78 Camaro and when I was pulling it apart, guess what I found...yep another cross both from a necklace. question is do you believe. not to get religious but...huh

I've found subwoofer wires in the spare tire wheel wells. The last owner chose to poorly hide a sub rather than carry a spare.

In my 58 ****** i found 12, 38 special bullets.
In my 88 silverado i found nothing, the only one that i didnt find anything from previous owners or animals.

When I first bought my IROC, it was running really bad. Took it to the shop where they discovered that one of the fuel injectors was hardwired so that every time you start the car, one of the injectors would just run continuously... Could never figure out why some one would have done this... Any one have any thoughts???

I found two marijuana roaches, rolling paper, about $2 in change, half of a straw, and a crack baggie. If that's any indication of how the car was "rebuilt," I know understand...the plastic interior pieces were not even screwed in and a "new" (cheap roll carpet from walmart) was put over the old tan carpet.

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c
I can only assume that an overwhelming majority of third gen owners are not the original owners of the cars. Unfortunately for those of us who appreciate the cars, many of them are beaten, trashed and disrespected horribly. On top of that, let's face it, the cars are approaching 20+ years old, so they've probably had a lot of owners who left a lot of things, hopefully accidentally, in the car.
The reason I bring this up is when I bought my '91 z/28, there was this really loud rattling coming from inside the drivers door whenever I hit a bump. Not even a rattling, more of a thumping noise. It wasn't causing any harm, and I was busy with school and work, so I let it rattle it's little brains out for about a month until yesterday I finally had a nice day and some free time to pull the door panel off and find out exactly what on earth was making that noise.
Well...here it is :
it's a solid steel coil spring. Weighs almost 3 pounds. I have no idea what it is/where it came from, as I've never seen one inside a third-gen door before between owning 3 and junkyard diving countless times. The only thing I can equate it to is one of the springs that older cars used to hold the hood open.
Well anyways, since I've made this astoundingly odd discovery, I was just wondering if anybody else has ever found anything weird in their third gen.
edit - crap, I made a typo in the title.

About 10 diffent keys and half a shop vac full of sunflower seed in the floor. and a little flag that had a pot leaf on it and said burn a fatty not a flag. And glow in the dark stars on the t tops and dash cluster. all got trashed.
Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c
I bought my '92 Firebird from a guy in the air force. I was going through it right after I bought it and found the original Firebird Owner's Cassette tape, and a "piddle pack"... which is a glorified ziploc bag with a sponge thing in it that pilots on long missions use to pee into...

Well, I haven't found anything weird in either of my firebirds, but I did find stuff in one of them. '89 Trans Am: found nothing '69 Firebird: about $2 in coins, several children's bracelets and stickers, a child's purple bead necklace (actually manages to look ok against the interior's color, so now hangs on my rearview mirror for just because), a few broken children's trinkets/bobbles/shiny things, mass cigarette butts between seats/inside the shifter box/and under the carpet (including one sitting in the trunk on top of the wheelwell and stuffed up against a body panel...how did it get right there??), lots of cigarette lighters, trash.... thankfully there is no smoke smell, ashes, or burns in anything despite all the clear evidence that somebody smoked in this car.

ok I have a fun one for you about 2 months ago a guy I went to high school with finds me and says "hay man you still like them 80's chickens " <-might I add dude is a total burn out ...."I need cash right now " gave him $250 for an 86 trans am with a crate 350 I was removing the dash when he called and acting freeked out asked "dude where's my chicken I gotta gut it right now " I told him sorry man I got it apart already .... and he replied "oh f***" and the phone went dead I proceeded to remove the dash to find 4 sheets of acid that slid into the defrost vents .....using my better judgment I disposed of the happy paper and went about my day

Ten years prior, my house I rented was the only house on that Street name. When I bought my '85, the old Quad was in the box the New Holley came in with bill of sale, 2 owners prior to me lived in that same house 3 years after I moved out.
