Any of you fellow members at least 6'4" and can you sit comfortably on the driver's side of a '91 Z/28? Thank you. Greg

My brother is about that tall and sits comfortable in his '92. I can tell you that there is much more available headroom with standard manual seat tracks. The power tracks are higher, even when adjusted all of the way down.

Im 6'2 and my heads pretty close to the roof, but I think a 6'4 guy should still have no problem. Cars an 85 firebird manual seats, but I assume its the same as a camaro's.

Are you sure? Because in my car the power seat is all the way to the floor and it is alot lower than when I sit on the passenger side. I can feel the difference.

Yeah, I'm sure. I never sit on the passenger side, I have no idea what it feels like over there.

They did change the design of the power tracks around '85. The early ones seem to go just about as low as the manual tracks.

That explains it because mine is an 87 and the only time I sit there is when Im working on something in the car.

Re: '91 Camaro Z/28 Leg Room

Hi, I'm 6'5" and can sit comfortly in both seat types, but there seams to be more room in the hardtop car's. I now have aftermarket seats for which I made brackets, and now I can even sit straight up with a helmet on.
