I heard a story once about a mint OEM set of Conteur seats. Someone took the car for a test drive when new and flipped it over. The car was totaled by insurance and parked at the dealer. Someone took out the interior and stashed it away. Maybe these are the same ones??

My favories are the 82 style Conteur upholstery, which is much like the base cloth. Second is the 83-84 orange, looking best in gray or white cars. In my red car it’s a bit much. Oh! And there’s the brown. I do like the brown. All I know is they make those early cars a bit more special than those without.

you don't wanna know what what new seat buns and NOS fabric plus the labor to make the covers for my car cost. Luckily, I was able to install the covers myself and save a little money there .... $1200 for that NOS seat was a steal
