TPS and IAC Mounting

Anyone know what the thread type and length of the screws that mount and secure the IAC and TPS sensors into the Throttle Body? I’m using a 102mm Nick Williams cable driven TB for my LS7 build. Thanks.

Not 100% sure but I would start with a 6 or 7mm and go from there. Its likely metric and two trips to the hardware store.

Honestly, you're better off. The bolts come in 2 packs for 60 cents. I'll buy $30 worth and the have a leftover stash of useless bolts. If there is an ACE or TSC take your parts there and try out the hardware. Their selection is 100× better than big box stores.

I think my Nick Williams throttle body came with all the hardware. Are you sure the parts aren't just laying around somewhere?

TB came with engine as a package. So no bolt pack.

Re: TPS and IAC Mounting

By the way, I have the same parts and I can tell you that the throttle cable is going to block access to the PCV port on the throttle body. I had to abandon the hose and instead put an air filter on the cylinder head.

Sometimes I will hear a whistle, like a blow-off valve, when I let off the throttle after a hard pull. I'm not sure if it's crankcase pressure relieving, or if it's the IAC making noise, or maybe noise through the hole I drilled in the throttle body. Either way it concerns me a bit and I'm considering using a vacuum pump, but it's so dang expensive!
