it was a nice day out today...figured i'd clean it up and take some pics












i also did some work on the cooling system. the factory single fan that was in the car is now in my firebird. i picked up two small fans and they seem to do a really good job. i mounted one to be a pusher, and one a puller. since i went aftermarket with the fans i had to do something to hold the radiator to the rad support. i came up with some simple tabs that hold it well. it was just flat steel that i bent up in the vice, painted it flat black, and added some foam with adhesive backing to the inside so it doesn't rub the rad wrong. anyhow, here's a pic of that and a pic of the engine...cause it's clean.

Its cool having a super streetable car but I gave up a long time ago on "grocery getter status", makes me nervous driving mine in traffic or parking it where I can't keep an eye on it.

yeah, about that... we are actually gonna have to stay in warner robins. just between my school and lack of job availability up there...it sucks. but we both just got jobs here (she's making more than me ) so hopefully things'll start looking up again. they have some killer car shows in mcdonough at the Summit, we should definitely meet up there once you get settled and i get my junk back on the road.

 

Bummer about the move. But I have still never been to the Summit since it opened....lol. Might be worth the gas to hookup sometimes.

Yep. I'll be there July 21st. In the meantime we are scouring East Cobb for a place to live. I hate the anxiety!

I've heard about Summit distribution center. My sister-in-law lives close to there. If it's anything like the center out here in Nevada, I'll be certain to show up for a meet or twenty.
